Who Should Read This Guide
Any participant interacting with the ROAR Panic Button Solution, including key stakeholders at the deployed property, must read these guidelines to understand the critical information detailed below. These key stakeholders include managers, supervisors, and anyone interacting with the solution as an end-user.
The use and maintenance of the ROAR solution must be in strict accordance with these guidelines to ensure that the solution works as intended.
How to Use This Guide:
To Conduct New Employee Orientation
All employees, especially those using the ROAR Alert Device, monitoring the Alert Console, and those acting as Emergency Responders must be thoroughly trained on the ROAR solution after implementation. This guide is to assist managers and supervisors to provide their staff members with the information needed to use the ROAR Panic Button Solution to protect them from certain unsafe working conditions that may occur at the property.
To Reinforce Training for Experienced Employees
Periodic training during pre-shift meetings must also be conducted as a refresher on how to use the ROAR Panic Button Solution. Refresher training must be conducted at least once every two weeks, at minimum, including for more experienced employees. Ongoing training is necessary to reinforce all user knowledge and enable employees and management to discuss any questions or concerns that may arise.
