This article will walk you through the process of installing Smart Plugs that have been shipped to your site.
What are Smart Plugs?
Smart Plugs are power outlets that ROAR can control remotely. They are secured, and only ROAR Support has access to them. You may have received Smart Plugs if ROAR Support has asked you to reset your gateways, or as part of a system upgrade.
How do I install the Smart Plugs?
Example of Smart Plug:
| 1. | Unbox the Smart Plugs. Take time to organize the Smart Plugs by location so you have a good understanding of where they need to be installed. |
| 2. | Head to the location (second line on the tag on the plug). |
| 3. | Unplug the listed Gateways (first line, starts with GW) |
| 4. |
Plug the Smart Plug into the power outlet. |
| 5. | Plug the gateways into the Smart Plug. |
